We are proud to announce Carter’s, Inc., will donate $1 million to support local communities and is committing 50,000 volunteer hours through a multi-year partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Carter’s is the first national partner to fund early childhood development exclusively with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Our support will help develop resources to address the growing need for accessible and affordable early childhood care in neighborhoods.

Specifically focused on children ages 0-5, Carter’s support will enable cognitive and skill development resources, which are critical during early childhood years.

Additionally, we will support the Summer Brain Gain-READ program by creating a new literacy module. This program helps prevent learning loss during summer breaks for children ages 6-9, keeping their minds active and engaged.

“At Carter’s, we are grateful to be a part of the journey of childhood and honored to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” said Jill Wilson, Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Talent Management. “Our partnership helps to expand their reach and support young children and their parents.”

As part of this partnership, we are committing 50,000 employee volunteer hours at local Clubs across North America. With over 1,000 retail store locations near Boys & Girls Clubs, Carter’s employees will have ample opportunities to give back to their communities.
